New home presentation/walk through

Family in Front of House

Before you get the keys to your new home you should expect your builder to do a New Home Walk Through and Presentation. Here’s why:

  • Gives you the opportunity to spot items which need to be corrected or adjusted.
  • Teaches you how your new home works and allows you to ask questions if you don’t understand.
  • Teaches you how to operate different components in your new home.
  • Teaches you how to maintain your home.
  • Teaches you about your new home warranty and it’s procedures.
  • Receive operational manuals on all your equipment and appliances.
  • Get your 60 day and 10 month warranty service request documents.

Be thorough in your walk through inspection and take notes. Your builder should want your home to be RIGHT when you move in!
