How to pick a new home plan that works.

Face it. We all live just a little different but by asking yourself the right questions you can pick a new home plan that perfectly fits your needs.

Are you just married planning to have children? Need room for overnight guest? Need space for future care of elderly parents?
Consider things like walk out basement and basement bath rough in to have yourself ready to expand your living space along with your family.

Do you entertain a lot? Formal or informal?
Choose between a formal dining room and a open floor plan depending on how you entertain the most.

Do you need a quiet place to read or study?
Choose a 4th bedroom option and convert it to a den or study.

Laundry is a bad word but consider what layout flows the best for how you do laundry
Plans that have laundry rooms off the kitchen work best for some and some like laundry rooms near the bedrooms. If you see a plan you like but it doesn’t have the laundry where you like it ask the builder if they can move it. Most of the time we can.
