Discover and Decide
Our first meeting we want to discuss what type of home you would like to build, where you would like to build it and what your budget is. We will try to determine if those 3 items are attainable. We will talk about what type of floorplan and home uniquely fits YOU. We will talk about how you like to use your home, how your live, what areas of the home are important to you.If you already have plans or want to use ours then great, we’re ready to move to the next step. If not then we offer several options:
- Use one of our existing plans with no design charge. Check out our new home plans and pricing.
- Modify one of our existing plans. There may be a design fee depending on the level of modification. The Design fee will be credited back to you if CMS Homes LLC builds you new home.
- Do a “one of a kind” custom home design based upon your desired budget. Design fees will apply, however those fees will be credited back to you if CMS Homes LLC builds you new home.
Our project manager will meet you at your home site to discuss where your new home will sit and see firsthand any unique conditions that will need to be addressed.
Next the design process will start. A first draft of the design will be given to you for your review. From that point the design goes back and forth between you and the designer until you get it the way you want it.
The next part of the process is making selections and picking out the items that are going in your home. This will typically take a couple of visits with your salesperson and depending on your desired selections you may need a visit to the flooring, countertop and cabinet companies
Decisions, Design and Details Completed
After the decisions, design and details are completed and signed off on, the final items needed are your deposit and loan comittment from your end loan lender. At this point your project is RELEASED FOR START.
